Starting with a group photograph taken four years earlier for the Time Out article 'Why Is British Comedy So Sexist?', Females Of The Fringe reflects on what happened after that shot. Shooting and speaking to comedians individually, in their venues just before or after their shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2013, the book chronicles their shows, their comedic styles and attitudes to gender in comedy.
